I think most of you know this but Julie has a very mild case of gestational diabetes. One of the most common side affects of this is the baby taking on a lot of weight. In the case of Julie I think we all know why that might be a problem. So that means we will be keeping a close eye on Nathan's size. So there is a possibility that Julie will be induced a little early. Probably like 1.5 weeks early so around the 13th. Just thought you guys would like to know that. Let me know if you have any questions.

Windshield Sunset
I cleaned the inside of my windshield on Saturday and it seems like I have a new car. Life seems more clear and crisp. Anyway, clean your windshield and enjoy the new visual experience.

Water

Water keeps running and passing us by. Crappy huh. I mean, it is nice to look to the future with hope but it is another thing to enjoy what is going on right now!! Julie and I are very excited to have Nathan come and join our family for REAL but we are also enjoying the pregnancy a lot. We are so busy doing school and work and also trying to spend some time together. Time is just going so fast. Anyway, let's try to enjoy what is going on right now. Life can be really hard sometimes but it is very special and once it passes us by it is lost.

Updates
For the next few days I will be importing all of the posts from my old blog. I want to have all of that information and memories in one place. And frankly, it is much better over here. It was really easy for me to move stuff over here which is really surprising. Everything I do takes twice as long as I think it will. This however takes less time that I expected. A rare thing.
I don't understand why it is ok to glue something to a baby's head!!!!! I guess it is better to just use a headband thing with a flower on it or whatever. So I found out that one only puts headband on girls. So Julie gets this blanket at a shower and it has a 3-inch stuffed bear with velcro straps to wrap around the blanket. So I think that this thing is a headband and say to Julie, "So do we put this thing around Nate's head?" And much to my dismae, Julie contuinued to laugh at me for like 40 minutes!!!!!!! Yeah, I felt pretty dumb. Right on!!!!! Maybe I should do a photo op with the headband. uhhhhh. yeah right.

Rock Chip Repair?????????
Since the cold weather is coming upon us quickly I saw the need to take care of some things that don't mix with cold weather. Rock chips are one of those things.
Have you even repaired a rock chip only to have the rock chip look as bad as it did before it was repaired?????? So I thought that was just how it went.
I just had a rock chip repaired today and to my satisfaction I can no longer see it!!!!!!!!!
The guy who took care of it told me that when you go to the 10 dollar places they tend to repair it about ten dollars of the way. Sometimes they look worse after the repair. My guy charges 25 and the rock chip is gone, it is invisible. Since my insurance covers rock chips (most do) it was free for me. Rock on I say.
Anyway, if you are fed up with crappy rock chips let me know and I'll send you the info. This guy has been working in the business for 25 years. He is really good. I'm not going to put the name or contact info because this is not a splog!!!!!!

Pet Peeve - Hurricane - Natural Disaster - Whatever
It bothers me so much to hear all these people complain about how the government is too slow and doesn't provide enough for them. None of these people were prepared even with an entire week of warning!!!!! In any case, if we don't have at least a 72 hours kit, we have NO right to complain.
Julie: A Coder?
So. Guess whom I go to for html coding questions? You are not going to believe this!!!! It is my Julie!!!!!!!!!
Of all the people I thought would learn html before me, Julie is the last that I would expect. She just doesn't seem to like that sort of stuff. But there she is in the other room coding away while listening to Chris Issac. She is quite the unpredicatable girl sometimes.

Rustic Lantern
I am really glad to have a camera!!!!!!!!! I mean, what a cool blessing. I really love taking pictures of people and also a good share of still life. I used to think that I really liked nature photography but I find people like a million times more interesting!
I am really excited about this picture. This my first post of a roll that I shot up at this is the place park near hogle zoo. I will post more when I get around to it.
Back to this picture. The two planks of wood that the latern sits on create some nice lines to the subject. The rough feel of the metal and the grain in the wood really help me feel what it might be like to sit near a wagon in the prarie. Anyway, I think it was some good depth to it.
You can seem more images from that day here.
Again, to all those people who don't comment anymore: Ellen, Karen, Michelle . KEEP COMMENTING!
